Getting to 1247 School House Gap Rd, Townsend, TN 37882:

Travel to Townsend, TN, from Maryville, on Hwy. 321. As you enter Townsend, turn right at the Tuckaleechee Cavern sign onto Old Tuckaleechee Rd. (no.4). Go .7 mile, and turn left at the rock sided church on Old Cades Cove Rd., then go another .7 mile. Take the left fork onto Dry Valley Road at David Crockett Stables.

This road turns into Cavern Road in just a few hundred yards. Stay on Cavern Road passing Tuckaleechee Caverns on the left. You will go 1.6 miles from the stables. Turn left on School House Gap Rd.

Go .6 mile and turn left into the dirt drive at the Moon Shadow Lodge sign. Follow this dirt drive for .5 mile and make a U turn to the left where you will see the stone column entrance on the right. You will see the lodge in the middle of the field.
